Sinead O’ Connor - Throw Down Your Arms (That’s Why There’s Chocolate and Vanilla 2005)
It’s one of the most wanted records out there right now: Sinéad O’Connor’s hauntingly beautiful ‘Throw Down Your Arms’, the 2005 album that sees the Irish singer-songwriter and activist covering classic material by Burning Spear, Bob Marley, Abyssinians, Peter Tosh, Junior Byles, Devon Irons, Israel Vibration and Buju Banton, expertly produced by Sly & Robbie with an allstar line-up and recorded at the legendary Tuff Gong Studios. Released in one ultra limited run on the rather obscure Chocolate and Vanilla imprint this brilliant outsider record has grown into an unlikely reggae grail over the last two decades. Although this is the cheapest copy on the internet by far, it isn’t exactly a cheapie, so offers are considered for this particular record.
Both records are VG+ with some pops here and there, noticably on ‘He Prayed’. Comes with original inners. Sleeve still has shrink attached.
