The Second Volume of James Brown’s sought-after Funky People double album series that chronicles some of the highlights on the Godfather’s People imprint, the Polydor subsidiary that was founded in 1971, issuing classic material by Brown proteges Lyn Collins, Marva Whitney, Vicki Anderson and Hank Ballard (to name but a few) and side projects that included The JB’s and Maceo & The Macks. Both records are near mint, sleeve VG+ due to a slight dent on the upper left corner - otherwise impeccable. Choice material!
